Penny becomes involved in a war between the leaders of two alien civilizations.
Dr. Smith and Penny discover an alien spaceship from which a voice warns them to leave. Several warning shots are fired from the ship's ray gun, and Smith and Penny flee. The next day, a parcel of gifts materialize on a table with its donor. He is a handsome golden man named Mr. Keema, who explains that he has arrived to wage a war, in behalf of his planet, with the other alien whose planet threatens his. They have devised a war in which only the leaders fight, thus saving their respective civilizations from annihilation.
Penny visits the other alien and coaxes him to come out of his ship. He is, as he had warned her, ugly. Penny develops an affection for this desperate creature and tries to persuade him to negotiate with Keema. Meanwhile, Keema offers to get the Robinson's back to Earth if they wiIllet him use their weaponry for his war against the ugly alien. When the Robot witnesses Keema radioing his superior that he plans to destroy the Earthlings with their own weapons, Keema blasts the Robot into a thoroughly disoriented state.
Smith and Judy go after the Robot, but Judy becomes trapped in an electronic mine field. Keema shows up and saves her, intimating that the mines were set by his enemy. Maureen feels they should give their weapons to Keema until the ugly alien appears at the Jupiter 2 to explain. Keema shows up, and the two aliens face off with their weapons. Maureen decides not to give their guns to Keema, but Smith takes it upon himself to deliver the weapons anyway. Once Keema has the weapons, he turns into a monster and declares his evil intentions. Penny takes Smith to warn the ugly alien, but Keema's barrage has already begun.
The ugly alien suffers greatly and seems near defeat. When Keema arrives, he throws a neutron bomb, and it is innocently picked up by Penny. She throws it to Smith, who throws it back to Keema. The bomb explodes, and Keema is obliterated. Before departing, the ugly alien turns into a handsome man in order that Penny will remember him fondly.
Ray says: The original script called for Keema to turn into a werewolf at the end of the episode. However, CBS felt that this would scare children watching the show and it was dropped.
